Hi, will be getting first car soon.

I am eying up WV 1.9 tdi as people saying it does about 55 mph and is sweet all around. Cheap too about 5k for good nick. Please advise is there something better in that price range?

buying a car doesnt mean you're building it..

sticking some wheels on a car and lowering it doesnt mean you've built it..


you dont even own a car yet.. total fail thread..

gets my back up when you see a car with some different alloys on with a sticker saying "built not bought" yeah ok
 
Is 55mph fast enough? Will you be let on the motorway? This just confirms my suspicions that WV's are rubbish cars.

Plus, what now, it's a build your own? Should be cheaper in that case.

Which WV are you going to build?

A WV Olop will be a more sensible first build than something like a Tassap for example.
 
55MPH?! My god, I've long since dreamt of owning an automobile capable of travelling at such velocities. It's like seeing into the future. A time where one does not need a noble steed for which to pull one's carriage can surely not arrive soon enough.

Word is there's a crazy scientist across town who has some form of time-travelling locomotive. They say he uses these here railroad tracks for testing it at night. I've not seen it myself. Could be just folklore.
