Haha :)

That looks as stable as an old woman with one leg walking down an icey road in the dark after drinking too much :p

Seriously dude 32MB super-PI doesn't cut it anymore. . Show me 12 hours of dual-prime!!!

Keep up the good work and try and hold down your excitement for a few days before gushing, too much of that going on followed by retractions such as "Oh it wasn't stable after all" or "Damn COD-2 keeps crashing"

If you can get that 3GHz fully stable that would be quite something!

Hello Dreadi,

welcome to the overclockers.co.uk forums!

Now you can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk ;)

Please post Stability screenshots/evidence of any amazing overclocks you do with as much info on your chip and set-up, its for the good of all :)

haha ok then, thansk for the welcome

this is the only one i can get at at the moment as im not at home but its at 2.9 and im using the arctic freezer 64 pro and im on 34 idle

May need to let te CPU burn in for while before being completely stable past 2.8. Could get mine to 2.8 on first day but could not get and keep stable at 3.0ghz until almost a month of pc running.

BTW - COD2 is the biggest test imo also - the Point Du Hoc scene as you bridge the cliff face and lookout over battlefield was the most testing.

this is as far as i got at 3ghz, i pretty much took the screenshot, saved it, went to commect to the net and it dies blued me again but im gonna keep trying although i may need some suggestions as to what to do.

im thinking im gonna have to drop the HTT to x2 as my board (a8n sli) only supports upto 1000fsb apparently and at 3 x 334 i breach it. i was feeding it 1.6v when i got this and it was around 35/36 idle

now i just gotta test my 2.93 and see if it is stable

but 2 x334= 668 maybe too low?

yeah thats what i was thinking, any suggestions??

also, just ran prime for the first time and got an error kinda quick, dont unerstand what it mwans but from the jist of things on forums people say run memtest to check you ram but my ram is only doing 162.9 as its on ddr200.

can someone gimme some suggestions on getting it prime stable without going slower as i dream about the day o get 3ghz running
