Well no point Overclocking if its not stable. Have you ran any benchmarks? I cant remember what i had mine clocked to but im pretty sure it wouldnt get that high. Not sure what 260 you have though.
Run it for 20 minutes, on 640x480, stability test mode. Pay attention to the temperatures.
This is called stress testing, and you must always stress test an overclock of anything, regardless of whether it seems to work or not. Just because Crysis works does not mean the card can handle anything you throw at it. Applications stress components in different ways, and a serious error occurring in one may not manifest itself in another.
Sorry i dont know what i looked at but you are prolly fine there. I had my EVGA 260-216 SC 65nm clocked to 750/1500/2600 and was bench stable but not really 24/7 speeds.
