I’m both excited and nervous. My first time building a gaming pc.

Here’s what I went for

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Eight Core 5.00GHz (Socket AM5) Processor

NZXT Kraken 240 Black AIO CPU Water Cooler - 240mm

Corsair Vengeance EXPO 32GB (2X16GB) DDR5 PC5-48000C36 6000MHz

MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WIFI (Socket AM5) DDRS ATX Motherboard

Corsair RMe Series RM850e Fully Modular Low-Noise ATX Power Supply v2

Asus GeForce RTX 4070 TUF OC 12GB GDDR6X PCI-Express Graphics Card

Crucial P3 Plus 1TB M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe

Be Quiet! Pure Base 500 FX Mid Tower Gaming Case - Black

Wish me luck!

That's a lovely spec for your first gaming pc. I echo take your time and plan ahead, as nothing worse realising you've missed something and have to undo some of the work.

Enjoy and fingers crossed when you press that power button, it lights up first time.

Take your time.

Be patient on first boot in can take up to 15 minutes for the motherboard to train the memory and may reboot a few times before you see anything on screen.

Enjoy.

Did you manage to get it up and running without any issues? Care to share any pics of it? I built my first one in 2022 since about 2006 and it was a little nerve wracking, especially the tiny pins on the AM5 processors. I was having dreams about it days before getting it installed.
