My First House

Could you replace the pane and just treat the hinges and metal bits? Should be much cheaper that way.

At least the conservatory gutters are easy to clean :D

Could do, not sure if it's a specific size and whether or not it's cheaper over time to replace the entire window?

RE: Gutters, you'd think it's easy, it's the right-hand side as you look at the picture above. I'll need to lay on the wall between mine and next door's conservatory lol, it's going to be interesting.
The left-hand side does actually have a guttering, it's just not visible from upstairs or in that picture. It's generally ok and i can access that easily.

Where about in Hitchin are you? I live at Coopers Yard.

I'm in Stotfold :) which has a Hitchin postcode.

I have internet! Huzzah!!
Using my laptop, haven't got my PC out of it's box yet though, been well over a week sitting there now, kind of a waste of such a heavy and high spec PC...Want to play games but so much to do in the house.

Got a plan for the canopy that's falling off the wall. Going to jack up the corner that's dropped and bolt it back in whilst pulling the bottom bolt on the same side out a little, i think it's pulling the top out. Then i need to get the top bolted in near the apex, just to help with the support.

As for the leaking conservatory gutter. It's all clean now and still leaks, there is a join in the plastic guttering right where it leaks. I can only get to about 50% of it, the rest goes under the poly-carb overhang and i can't reach it or see.
I was thinking of folding back the lead and getting a single aluminium gutter and seating it in the existing one, raised at the far end slightly to drain, folding the lead back over and bending the aluminium where required. I'm confident that this would work but where do i get such guttering and are there standard sizes?
