My first lapping attempt

well i'll give it another go as have massive flu and sitting at home nothing to do at moment anyway.

so 20 strokes 90degree turn on bit wet wet&dry sand paper ? right?
 
I actually found that the CPU was much easier to lap, had mine done in around 15 minutes but my HSF that was a diff matter, took well over an hour in total to do as I redid the base as it wasn't quite flat.

Here's the base of mine before I redid it, didn't bother to take any further pics and I lapped with only 1200 grit as that's all I had in the house at the time.
