The last time I overclocked anything was a Celeron 300 on an Intel BX board! I decided to have a go so I'm now running the following
Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe
Opteron 146 1.52 vcore @2.8Ghz
ThermalRight SI-120 with a Vantec SF12025L Stealth 120mm fan @1380 rpm(v.quiet)
memory is Corsair 3200 2gb running at 233.3
HIS x1900xt-x not overclocked
Ive just run 3dmark2006 and got a score of almost 5800 and Im running prime95 cpu stress test for 2 hours now and the cpu temp. is 43 and motherboard temp is 31.
I'm not ***** waving but just thought Id let you know Ive rejoined the club!
I would try higher on the cpu but I know nothing about memory timings etc.
