With help from agw_01, I managed to get my new build to run at the above speed with the RAM at 250MHz at 3.2v with the timings 2, 3, 2, 5.

Will update this post with more details later...

Dont really want to as it is running standard cooling, and even when we tried it at 1.55v we could not get it running at 2.62ghz. It ran prime for 2 1/2 hours without error at 2.53ghz so i have lowered the vdimm to 3.4v and am currently re runnig prime as i want to lower my vdimm.

:p Cheeky, it was not really stable at that point so left the pc to do what it wanted, had it stable in prime 95 for nearly 3 hours will need to shut it down soon its stoping me from closing my bedroom door. :o

I am happy with my overclock will post screenies soon and may enter my 2.75ghz (non stable) in the sticky at the top. :D

Ok managed to get it to trc 7, runs stable still. :D

Idle temps are 30> and full load it hovers between 48-51, these seem ok?

temps seem ok for stock cooling but you might want to consider getting a better cpu cooler at some point.. also are you using any case fans? sometimes just having a decent airflow thorugh the case is better than having a better cpu cooler so you might want to consider that

Yeah i have 3 case fans at the moment and one on the memory will do a cable tidying up session and hopefully that will improve airflow.

Would this help temps?

Akasa 60mm to 80mm Fan Adaptor , and then buying a 80mm fan?
