Ok, well after trawling these forums and yearning for an upgrade of any sorts, i decided to ditch my xp 4200 and grab an ip35 + e2180 combo, and of course, clock it :p, kept my old graphics card from when I first got it april 2006

So here is my system specs:

CPU - E2180 @ 3000mhz (300x10)
Mem - 2gb Geil ULL (1:1 cpu:dram)
Mainboard - IP35
Graphics card - Nvidia 7950GX2 running @ core 570 mem 750 (old now :p)

as the below ss say

3dmark05 - 14023
3dmark06 - 9209

as you can see from screenies max cpu temp is about 54 underload and max gpu is a massive 76:eek:

any good for my first time overclock?

Congrats on your first overclock :)

Change the divider on your ram as your underclocking it by 200Mhz with that divider? Its rated speed is 4,4,4,12 800Mhz but you will need to set the voltage to 2.1v or +0.3 to do so.

Temps look fine. Are you using the stock cooler or a 3rd party one?

so my ram is running slow? ok ill give that a shot for when its not 5am :[

Yes you will want to manually set the ram to unlinked in the BIOS so it runs independently of the FSB. You will also need to up the DDR2 Voltage to 2.1v and set the timings to 4,4,4,12 as the GeiL defaults to 5,5,5,15 @1.8v for compatability purposes.
