Its a 2nd pc that i will be building and since my other PC which i sold now was really noisy...Thats a reason for trying to build a quiet PC

I had trouble with installing windows of a USB.
Problem was that i didnt have drivers for usb 3.0, and i tried all the things than finally i just changed the usb to 2.0 and it worked!

Now i only need GPU, SSD, Better cooling for CPU

I`m really happy with the case its big and has great cable managment system!
Even though my GPU is old i could se a difference in FPS in some games.

if you want silence then a non reference cooled gpu is a must! also a larger heatsink will allow for better cooling with lower rpm fans which will make it silent.

i can reccomend the megahalems with 2 akasa apches, or even one. its silent.

but a nice build otherwise

here is a comparison between the 660 and 7870. i think the 7870 just about beats the 660 is most games except bf3 where nvidia always wins. the benchs there though are out of date, a recent driver update for amd cards gave them a good performance boost.

i have a 7850 and its a great card and id consider that as an option too

Its an after market cooling which is pwm. Artic cooling acceloro twin turbo i bought it for 11 quid.

AMD last time they decreased the quality of image by more FPS.
Thats why im a bit unsure.
Will post some more pictures tommorrow with a better cable managment.
Now i only need CPU cooler, gpu and ssd after this i will be finally finished.

Personally, I'd get a CPU cooler that uses a 120mm fan - the Artic cooling ones were great, though when they came out. The BeQuiet Dark Power came highly recommended by CPC.

Does the case itself have any fans? Often I've found that these are lower grade than retail fans such as Scythe's Gentle Typhoons and other premium grade fans, so can be quite noisy. If you manage the airflow through the case, you won't have to work the internal fans quite so hard - that's going to be key as the two components that you have only cool the component - both will re-circulate the warmed air within the case. It may not be significant, but if you can exhaust more of the hot air, the hsf's on the cpu and GPU wont have to work quite so hard, and this will thus reduce your noise levels.

The BeQuiet range came highly recommended by CPC, but it looks very expensive as their range seem to start at £35! Much more than that, and you get diminishing returns in my opinion

At the moment i have 1 fan at the back 2 on the top and 1 at the front.
3 antecs and 1 silentiumpc which takes the air in to the case.
I will buy parts after i come back, and will take gigabyte gpu.
The cooler i can spend about 25 pounds. Since its only i5 2400 stock.
At the moment i get temps - http://scr.hu/0u78/2lm97 with IC diamond 7 carat

Thermalright 140 True, and Gentle Typhoon 1150's for me. The Corsair's aren't bad fans, I have the Performance version they were almost inaudible at 1000RPM.

I don't rate the MSI cooler, get something similar to an Accelero cooler. Maybe a windforce?

Apache is PWM which is great, I've never used them personally but always was tempted.

Nothing is silent on the op list. The problem is that you want a powerfull GPU so you cannot go fanless (although some can be almost silent). You can tell that you are getting close to having a silent system when you replace your 2.5" hard disks (no question about 3.5" ones) because you can hear them.

Yes, I was hoping for a silent build as well with passive cooling and no fans or spinning drives. Either way it should be quiet with the selected antec case. Keep the build pictures coming.

To me the design doesnt count that much since i dont have a window.
2 fans quiet that will put some air in but dont cost too much. I can see these get good reviews YOUR BASKET
2 x Xilence XPF120R Red Wing 120mm Quiet Fan £6.95 (£13.90)
Total : £17.81 (includes shipping : £3.26).

2 x BitFenix Spectre Plain BLACK 120mm Fan £4.80 (£9.60)
Total : £13.51 (includes shipping : £3.26).

The GPU for playing in 1920x1080 i think a 7870 would do or should i invest in 7950 ?
Gigabyte cooling from my experiance is quiet and cool.

Also I need to buy logitech g400 and mechanical keyboard - my current is razer arctosa and microsoft ie 3.0 which is getting a bit old and i get 2 klicks. The keyboard doesnt allways catch up with my typing...

This is a reason why i want to get an aftermarket cooling! Iv changed the thermal compound to IC diamond 7 carat and temps went down with 2c in idle and 1c in load.

I will try to keep the pictures next update in next month, GPU, CPU cooler and fans.

i have the logitec mouse and its fine except that my scroll wheel occasionally doesnt work, it is only 5 months old, but it has had some heavy use scrolling the forums and apart from that its a really nice mouse, maybe a tad light but good otherwise
