How heavy are they with that roof mech? its prob just as fun as the MX5, as it has that little bit more power.But in reality the MX5 has far more potential for less monies.

About 1150 iirc. As heavy as my ej coupe was.

I used to really hate these but I've slowly grown to be less offended by them. The B-16 engined variant is the one to have. They do come in a massive variety of womanly colours though

Mechanically underneath it IS a Civic but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It's lighter than the equivalent 90's civic and shares the Civic Type-R engine, it's as reliable and also means parts and tuning is plentiful and cheap .

No it's not a light car really. But I didn't say being a civic was a bad thing though, my little car was really fun to drive, I even swapped a Del sol vtec engine in it along with a del sol rear sway bar.

Also it doesn't share the civic type r engine!

No, a civic 2 door 5th gen with full power accessories is actually about 100kg lighter than a del sol vtec. It's the crazy boot thing that weighs so damned much on the sol. With manual windows and no moon roof the 5g coupe is only 1009kg

Exactly, I don't know where anyone got this information that it was somehow lighter than the equivalent Civic (EG6). It is NOT, it's 110kg Heavier. While we're at it, it does NOT share any Type-R engine.

Should have got a Civic SiR tbh, basically the same only its lighter as mentioned and you don't have to be embarrassed to be seen in it.
