Ive been dropped into the deep end and been asked to create a website for an amatuer model.

The only experience I have with web design is usng simple viewer to create galleries and simply designing the look of a site on Photoshop and then sending the image to a guy who makes up the website :p

Sooooo...With zero knowledge of HTML or anything else related, What would be the best way for me to create a website..
Would consist of Home Page, a Gallery and probably a Contact page.

Ive tried 1and1 website builder but the galeries suck. Ideally i'd like to use a seperate gallery progam such as simpleviewer...

If this isnt possible then obviously i'd need to look at using a 'proper' program and learn about coding...:(

Can we see it?

Stelly

Will be one of these models http://paololoraso.com/port/index.html

Dad owns a studio and the models coming in are after a website so this site is just a practice run...

Get a host with mysql, php, and apache/IIS and then use this: http://gallery.menalto.com/

Build the home / contact page in frontpage or dreamweaver....

Such as? 1and1 ?

I have access to Dreamweaver at work, could I build the home page and contact page without much hassle, with me having no prior experience?

Looking back I suppose there was no definitive question :p

Just wanted some advice on where to get started.. I haven't got a host or domain name or anything..

Just want the website to look pretty minimal yet professional with 2-3 pages at most and to have a nice impacty flash gallery (Which I imagine will be difficult for a beginner?)

Since making this thread ive tried a few demo's of basic website builders and I really wasn't impressed.

Wish I could just make a good looking site on Photoshop and drag it across to the internet :p
