Hi guys,

My friend from Milton Keynes is currently in hospital and is trying to recover from a brutal attack which happened at his work place.

In Bletchley, Milton Keynes, he was robbed by two men, taking cash from him and also robbed the betting shop (William Hill).

I don't think much will come from this thread, but it is worth a shot. If any one here is from Milton Keynes and know more about this attack, please report it to the police.

He has a heart of gold, and is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. I really hope he recovers soon.

Was on Crimewatch yesterday on my Birthday. A good present would be if they caught the scum!

:(

Hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Was he working alone at the time? I know Hills tend to have a policy of LPW these days.

I couldn't say, I don't know much more. :(

When I am back from Germany I will go and see him, hopefully he is fully recovered soon so we can go out for a few drinks.

Hoping for a speedy recovery. I live in MK and I stay out of Bletchley. The high street is really dodgy particularly in the evening. Just full of idiots up to no good on the few occasions i've had to go :(

Definitely, I wouldn't say that Bletchley is the nicest of places. However, it is a shame that someone who is just working to get money to keep living gets treated in this way by complete strangers.

Knowing him I am sure he would have just handed the cash and anything they wanted to avoid any injuries, however it seems like they stole his personal items, and they went for him with no consideration. The world is a strange place, and there are some nasty people out there.

Would be nice if there was some proper footage somewhere of the CCTV. Someone on this forum must know something about this, or at least have seen/know of the people who did it.

How is he now, 5UB?

Physically he is alright, but emotionally, he had to move out of the city. I don't want to say too much online but he is a lot better than what he was like after the attack.

Catching these 2 people would be a great result, and I just hope that it does happen.

Two men are to appear in court today following a robbery at a Bletchley William Hill betting shop.

Vasile Airinei, aged 21, of Stoke Road, Bletchley, and Gheorghe Purcaru, aged 28, also of Stoke Road, Bletchley, were yesterday ( December 23) each charged with one count of robbery.

The charges relate to a robbery at a William Hill betting shop in Queensway, Bletchley, on July 10 this year.

They are due to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court today (24 December).
