My Fusion Build with some pics

Just got a second fan to fit in my case which should help with cooling and bring it up to your 2 fans (one on the case, one on the MB) will set the MB one low maybe level 1-2 the let the case fan do the rest of the work only problem is i should have got a bigger SSD but i was on a budget....

I'd love to try the opposite in the future - a powerhouse SFF - world's smallest gaming rig...

I'll let you know how mine turns out (see sig) once I get myself back on track and can fund it again (and hopefully by the time I can fund it we may have Z68 Mini-ITX, so I'll be jumping up to a 2500K and OC it).

Although look up Tute and ask him how he's finding the GPU - he's using the same one.

Oddly its buffering some movies but not others. eg 2gb video Jumper constantly buffering. However a 1.5 gb video it's not. Difference is Jumper is mkv and the other one is avi. Can't work it out.

Also can't find a good skin for xbmc and not fussed on the confluence one.

I want one which gives a cover flow type layout for movies/music

Found an answer to the buffering, appears the two hand me down comtrend homeplugs fomr bt have issues. Red light indicating 1-4 mbps throughput *sigh*

didnt have any trouble with my solwise 85mbps ones....

Don't mind me asking, what was the total build cost?

He already said;

The systems came to £225. I then paid £30 for a win 7 HP licence and £50 for a brand new Logitech diNovo from the bay!

How much does that fan stick out? How loud is the PSU? I would think with that fan on the case you could happily pull the fan off the mobo and not see an issue.

Tempted to go for a build like this, but that case is a bit.. I dunno. Need better pictures of it I think - not as sleek as the Revo

No the case isn't as sleek as teh revo, however its tucked away behind the tv so had no use for aesthetics in this build. Fan sticks out only a couple of mm's and I agree I could probably run it without the cpu fan as the case fan covers half the mobo lol

PSU is inaudible and the system is like a quiet whisper for comparion. Can't hear it behind the tv. Still getting used to the diNovo mini, though I fear I may part ways with it. Shall give it another weak. My homeplugs failed plus I'm on holiday so haven't had a full play with it.

Nice build there :)

I am after doing some thing similar, or buying a media player like the AC Ryan Mini 2.

In related news my bt comtrend homeplugs have completely failed. Shiney new solwise gigabit homeplugs on their way!

So no streaming at all to my shiney new htpc. gutted. Had to use a usb stick so teh wwife could watch a film

sigh
