My GFX card bottlenecked?

I have a GTX 260 216 and its fast but i cant even play crysis at 1400x900 on high without 20fps..i have a AMD 4200+ x2 overclocked to 2.8ghz which isnt that slow so shoulnt bottleneck too much? and 2gb ddr2 ram. please help!

The resolution ALONG with the CPU is bottle necking it. Upgrade to a P2 920 or something. And is 1440x900 the highest resolution? The higher the resolution, the less trouble the CPU causes.

yea my monitor is 19" 1440x900 so cant do anything about that and have no money for a new one

If you're running Vista, then 2gb of ram is holding you back as well. Get another 2gb and stick that in.

+1 the ram and cpu are holding you back, its not just the clock speed of the cpu that you have to take into consideration here, it along with the cache architecture etc of the cpu will effect gameplay, and 2gig of ram woulnt help.

Still holding you back a bit. And RAM is as cheap as chips nowadays. Might as well stick in another 2gb.
