Do you still have it (the girlfriend, the case, either both)? :D

I have really struggled to find good info and pics on this case. Would it be possible to get some internal measurements? I have a "mini" Micro-ATX board (GA-G31M-ES2L) and am looking to squeeze it into an ITX case.

Mobo is 24.4x wide x 19.4cm deep

Q1: How much space between mobo and front of case (internally). If less than 2.4cm its a bust for my idea.

Q2: How much space from the edge of the mobo (next to card slot) to the edge of case (internally). Would be great if 7.4cm but I suspect that given the fan is 60mm that won't be enough space. But still not quite a bust.

Q3: How much space (internally) between edge of mobo and PSU. Looks like 1-2cm (or measure the edge of case to PSU - probably something around 24cm). That might allow me to slide the mobo up the case, moving the mounts, and cutting the back panel.

Would be EVER so grateful if you can check for me! ;) ;)
 
lol hi, nope to the gf, but my gdad now has the case with a h61 and a g540.

Its an m-itx case, so I don't think a micro atx would line up to the rear backplate, However I have a g31-gs so can measure it to the case. I'm seeing my gdad tmrow so if you want me to measure the internal dimensions of q1-3 I can.

There will be a few issues though,
i dont think the holes will line up to atx board and then the baord to the backplate entrance??
the cpu cooler has to be either standard or low profile,
the power supply is pretty good but I had to modify it to stop it dumping heat into the case.
the case really makes a hdd run hot, so i'd advise you use a ssd.
theres no slot for a gpu, so you'd need to gary grinder a slot for the gcard !

I don't mind some modding if needed. Just need to know if it physically would fit. I probably have to enlarge the backplane hole (move to left) and cut out a slot for a horizontally mounted VGA card (low profile), re-do the mobo mounting standoffs and would be using a laptop HDD anyway (or SSD)

Ok physically the motherboard would fit width ways and depth is just about doable, I have made up a mock of your board dimesnions with paper, My psu is rotated 90 degrees too.

Depth is going to be your problem if you need an extra 25mm for overhang for a gpu then the max you could get is 15mm and that would involve cutting away the bulkhead support at the front of the case. pictures here

Seems a lot of effort when m-itx h61 and celeron so cheap bud. Or a better case is available.

May swop this for an ITX Atom system or sell it...

Appreciate the sterling work and pics too. You really gave it a good workout. I quite like the case.... maybe an ITX system inside that would be nice!
