My GTX 1080 didnt have a security screw - is this normal?

Browsing on the web I noticed a few 1080 founders editions had a white sticker over one of the screws, I recently opened up mine to install an evga hybrid cooler but it didn't have the sticker.

I'm curious because had I never opened up the card I would never have known and if I needed to RMA it, it would look as if I was the one who had tampered with it.

Does anybody know if this is sticker is standard or perhaps just the few I have seen online happened to have them. Curious if it effects RMA.

It probably depends on manufacture, say EVGA have them but Zotac don't, that is just a example.

Zotac tend to have painted screws that scratch when you use a screwdriver its how they tell you have removed the cooler.

if its EVGA im pretty sure I didnt have one on mine when fitting WC block

EVGA and gigabyte don't have any and allow removal

My Inno3D 1070 didn't have any either which was a bonus.

Yeah Gigabyte 'blower' card didn't have any screw, which was a great boon when it came to water cooling them!
