My Hotmail account is sending Spam

Hi,

I seem to constantly get spam emails from my friends hotmail account telling me "JUST BEEN HERE SHOPPING! CLICK HERE AND BUY THESE AMAZING UGG BOOTS!??!"

My hotmail account now appears to be doing the same thing, sent a random spam email out to pretty much everyone in my address book.

How does this happen, done a virus scan and don't appear to have spyware or viruses present.

Change your Hotmail password, it will stop.

Unless your password is easy, they won't be hacking passwords. You may have typed it in a fake website (possibly one of the links you have been given) or they've got it through a keylogger of some kind (possibly installed from a link you've been given).

These type of things used to move really fast through msn. But, most people have caught on now.
