My house causing me health issues?

The heater/cooler from Dyson also cleans the air, I own one and I definitely recommend it, although it is not cheap.

My son, now 9, suffers from sneezing, runny, stuffy nose every morning and it tends to disappear into the afternoon.
We have tried everything to counter it but haven’t been successful yet. It also happens when he stays at other peoples houses too, so not limited to just our house.

i went through a similar thing when I was younger and it only started to clear up when I got older.

As mentioned, allergies change with age. When I was a kid I had severe allergies to dogs, was a real issue for me. but cats I was fine. Now I am broadly ok with dogs, but I can't stay in a house if they have cats....

Try taking an allergy test, they can test you for many substances, you may be surprised what shows up.

Thanks chaps, appreciate it. I’ve been kept in another night but hoping to get out tomorrow.

Its quiet, tucked away in a room with no corridor noise. Credit due, the staff have been excellent, I wasn't waiting long to get booked in at A&E and then the subsequent treatments/tests. Everyone has been great and very thorough. Not the usual NHS stories you hear.

Perhaps its due to COVID but the cases waiting at A&E seemed very genuine. Unlike some A&E waiting rooms I’ve seen in the past whilst accompanying others.

I lived in a flat which suffered from damp. All sorts of weird allergies arose, I was being bitten alive by what looked like flea bites (I honestly thought I had an infestation of bed bugs - stripped bedding, threw out, clothes, loads of towels, bedding and replaced bed.) Never found any signs of bugs. Was at the point of getting pest control, reported to the owner the problems and moved out.

I do agree with opinions that it could be the house and as @billysielu mentions, you might have developed a dust mite allergy. When I moved, a dose of Piriton cured it for me and a different place. Very, very strange, I was beside myself wondering what on earth was going on, I thought I had picked up bed bugs from a Hotel; it is distressing and eats away at you. Definitely think I developed a dust mite allergy along the way.

Wishing you get it resolved shifty.
