Only way is to try, updated BIOS might help things,
try disabling onboard graphics or igpu in the bios and set the display as pci/peg
im not sure if the cards faulty or its an issue with the board
tried the latest nvidia beta drivers? windows 7
http://www.nvidia.com/object/win8-win7-winvista-64bit-310.70-driver.html
it should work on auto though mine does,im not on that pc atm so cant say,it will tell you in the mb manual, its in one of the bios pages just look for igpu
you can unplugg the graphic card and use onboard graphics see if its ok using that,or you can plug the 680 in the lower pci-e slot see if that makes any difference, tbh if the card was working before and not now it could actually be a faulty card
I don't believe this question has been asked yet, but what PSU are you using?
A dying PSU can cause all sorts of weird and wonderful intermittent issues.
Also, we've still yet to see any temperature readings from the CPU?? We can at least then rule that out of the equation.
http://downloads.techinferno.com/RealTemp/RealTemp_TI.zip
use that for temps^^,its in there in one of the pages igpu-integrated graphic processing unit or onboard graphics, seasonic psu's should be fine,im using xfx psu also made by seasonic
To monitor the temperature of your CPU, I'd recommend RealTemp as it will tell you the exact time the max temp occured.
There's also Core Temp, which if you have a G15 keyboard by any chance, or perhaps other keyboards with an LCD, you can view the temperatures on the keyboard LCD using Core Temp.
cpu-z just show cpu speeds
another thing to try is setting the pci/peg slot from auto to gen2 speed, ive seen a few issues running in gen3 mode again i dont know what page its on without looking i can look 2morro for you

I found everything, but 3 of the things I need to change are locked to auto
pwm phase control = stuck on auto
system memory multiplier is stuck on auto and is at 16.00
cpu vcore is stuck on auto at 1.55v
How do I unlock all of these so they can be changed? I noticed i could unlock the auto setting on other things.
Not being funny, I think my GPU is dead mate.
