That will last about an hour before we get too bored or too drunk to care

I am with my parents in Ipswich, and the one friend I was relying on for new year shindigs has failed me.

Personally I'm doing nothing tonight as my girlfriend is in london at her friends. Not a chance of me spending a daft amount of money getting a train to london to then go to a family meal back in Hull the day after for just a night out! Its not like she went there without me though as she flew back into the country two days ago at heathrow

Got hit with the norovirus after my parents had it over Christmas, so now I'm stuck in on NYE as I can't venture too far away from the toilet! Haven't even eaten in two days!

I'll be at home waving goodbye to 2011 quietly, its been a bad year and one I'll never forget, I spent more than half of it in intensive care!

2012 is going to be a lot better, and it starts in 3 hours!

Had a fairly unhappy 2011 myself, but plenty to look forward to in 2012
