ah a late night easyrider rant. normally a friday night for those, good to see him changing it up and going for a saturday night session instead.

People have forgotten what a prat he used to be in the movies forum, surprised he even had the balls to come back and start posting again tbh. He was Psycho Sonny levels of arrogance.
 
I too can come up with a bunch of complaints that I've had with multiple services and companies over the past decade or so. But what's the point?

Is £24 really worth losing sleep over? Bad mechanics have always been a thing, you get bad apples everywhere. I mean you've said yourself that you had a decent experience with your BMW indy. I think you've just been unlucky with some of your experiences.
 
bit different in NI - garages can't do the actual MOT there are separate MOT testing centres for this. It has been an absolute debacle over the last few years with a bunch of faulty lifts cracking in the test centres leading to massive MOT backlogs and some cars being allowed 2 years between MOT tests and issues with tax/insurance/police. Main thing i have done to avoid this with my cars that are requiring MOT is to get the tax and MOT date out of sync by only paying for 6 months road tax once so i always have enough time to sort the MOT inspection before the tax runs out

I didn’t go with all guns blazing….I was relatively calm…I’ve experienced great customer service in the past from my BMW Indy who went above an beyond to help me save a small fortune on my 3 series…used him for years.

But the guy in this Garage just clearly didn’t give a ****

It was like talking to a brick wall….he just didn’t want to know on any level…

I know all about staying calm and being friendly to get results….but this was a complete shrug off…zero empathy..untter contempt from his part.

yeah i understand, there is nothing more frustrating than somebody who doesnt give a toss after the work has been carried out.

Nothing to do with money….its the hassle, the principle of me having to go out my way to fix ineptitude.

Who is this massive UK tyre and service centre anyway? They've already been shamed in this thread, so you might as well name them.
