My machine died, time to upgrade

Are you on members market? A few weeks back I got a i5 750 with mobo and cooler delivered for £180. You would probably have to buy some new parts but you could save a small fortune.

Ok, probably going to go with the Titan Exodus pre built system:-

- Case: Antec 300 Three Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case
- Power Supply: Corsair TX 650w Corsair Power Supply
- CPU: Intel Core i5 750 2.66GHz overclocked to 4.00GHz
- Motherboard: Asus P7P55D-E LX Intel P55 (Socket 1156) DDR3 Motherboard
- Cooler: Akasa AK-967 V2 Nero Direct Contact Heatpipe CPU Cooler
- RAM: Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
- Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache
- Sound: High Definition 7.1 Onboard Sound Card
- Optical Drive: 22x DVD+RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter

Plus adding a 5850 and an Intel x25-v 40GB SSD. Comes to £956.97 inc VAT.

Should I go for the Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache as main storage in place of the Seagate?

Shall I pull the trigger?

Would you really prefer prebuilt to custom? Would save you a decent amount.
Im not a fan of the Antec 300, poor case from my experience.

Switching the HDD is a good shout and brings that spec in as a great one.

Thanks for all your help and advice everyone. I've opted for the spec above with the upgrades mentioned and it should be arriving next week. It didn't really work out that much more expensive to have it pre-built in the end, about the price of a night out more than it would've been to do it myself. Can't wait! Thanks again :)

Thought I'd give it a go here is mine:

Arrived this morning and setting it up as I type.

Just had a quick scout through the bios and cpu temp is 53C. Is this normal? Bear in mind its been oc'ed to 4Ghz.
