my macro rig + shots

you bumped the thread for me, was going to do it tomorrow. bet you thought id forgotten about you lot

got all the brackets finished friday just need to spray finish them then i'll get them sent out.
i hope to have them finished mid next week, so hopefully get them out to you soon.

i'll leave getting the nuts and bolts to you as costs will run to high for me unless i can source some on the cheap.

It's a modification of auction item 380158172645 (or half of item 280390732547). I used a straight flashbar under the camera to get the right height instead of the stepped one provided. If I can pick up another SB-400 I can make up a dual flash setup using a second curved bracket but they keep going too high.

lol, i could do... but cant be arsed

instead i stole an idea from your flash bracket, got to cut to size and machine the groves, but it will fit on the current bracket and work in the same way as yours.

Just search for flash bracket on the auction site and you'll find them although most decent camera shops should have them.

Nice work. Finding it on the bay was one of those 'eureka' moments as it really makes positioning the flash much more flexible.

yeah got one for you MK. i've not sent any out yet, there all sat in my draw at work waiting to be sprayed, wanted to get them all finished so i can spray them in a batch as its easyier. will be getting envelope's this weekend.
