Again, depends how it's been done. If a 300bhp engine has been dropped in without any thought to tuning out torque-steer then yes there'll be problems, but if the whole drivetrain has been thoroughly worked over (which I'd hope it has!) then I can't see it being a problem.
 
my god look at that engine bay...there's not even space for a needle!!

I doubt many peoples fears are correct.

Bet it drives like a beaut certainly has enough spent on it to look so. At the end of the day the way it drives and power is the main thing, and looks is largely subjective. Having a 300bhp engine in a hatchback is something any petrol head would enjoy!!
 
Looks alright, i think it needs the rubbing strips putting back on the side and the lights changing back for stock ones then it will much better.
 
That engine must be a complete git to work on - not a whole lot of room in that engine bay!
 
gaz recently sold it afaik (buying the sedan from ecosse) agw, And yes its an ecosse kit the car was an eccosse show car before gaz got i, i dont know gaz but i speak to a friend of his PUGA on a few forums who has recently had a t16 lump put in his xsi.
As for 'awesome engine yes it is and they are rare but considering the engine is pretty much identical to the S16 lump (and also v similar to the mi16 lump except the s16 has larger crank journals and a knife edged crank that can handle the turbo better) bar getting forged pistons, its quite possible to turbo charge an s16 and it be reasonably reliable.......
i have been thinking about this myself ;)
edit: haven got home and been able to see the images its is obviously a joke, the car was not sold with those wheels for starters and secondly the pics are the same as the ones on gaz's website yet "where aparently just taken by the ultimate" why do people do this?
i mean omfg the ultimate you must be awesome and great as your mate has this car really!!!!!!!!!!!!1
