My microphone is not working

just received my new PC, and my microphone is not working. The motherboard is B550 Gaming X V2 from gigabyte, I had try almost everything, microphone is working as I had try to another device. The only way is to buy a usb but I am trying to avoid that as my pc is brand new.

If it’s a new pc are all drivers installed ?

well in my system popped up as a microphone (realtkek(R)audio). I can see the the mic but is not working

But is it set as the default option? I’ve had Windows set the speakers on a monitor (even though it didn’t have speakers!!) as the default mic option!

I have had windows on numerous occasions change my microphone to output device.

I dont have default option is going straight to this option for some reason. the speakers are working fine from the outpout, my only issue is the mic. To be honest I ve seen that with the monitor and I was wondering what is going on? I was in the sounds option and I realised that I didnt have any device connect with my PC only the monitor and I ve seen the db going up and down and I was thinking how is possible?
