You could install a controller card like this one assuming you have spare expansion slots, they do PCI varients as well, the link above was to give a idea.

Mechanical HDDs can't saturate a SATA150 port let alone a SATA300 one (SATA2 doesn't exist as a standard, it's a marketing name).

I want an SSD just want my computer to boot quickly

Can someone spec my a mobo. I want AGP graphics or recommendations on a 9600 PCi Card. Mobo suitable for dual core 6800. Have sound card oh yes I've a PCi tv card so want a slot for that too.
