This guy lives out in the middle of the woods, with no electricity, and seems to have an obsession with robots. So much so, that he has decided to build a big one.

That is part 1, where he explains that before building the robot, he needs to build a workshop, but in order to do that he needs to build a lumber mill.

This guy is epic, what ever he needs, he just builds. Think Candyman, but on a big scale.

It so far has spanned 3 years, and is currently on part 54.

And yes I'm aware of the Youtube thread, but this is more than a Youtube video.

Damn, as I'm about to go to bed I find something that looks FAF ... added to favourites ready for when I finish work tomorrow :D

Whoa that's crazy :D Very interesting though! Onto part 3 now and just want to see more! :D

It made me lol when he goes "Here's my nice new welding jacket! *Pause for effect* I just made it." :p Anything he wants - he just makes :p

lol at saw i know a traveller who lost a arm on a similar type saw . blade snapped off with the arm. used to build old style coaches carts.

HOW MANY PARTS!!

Don't think my o2 Home Access FUP cap is going to like this...

Edit: Holy hell, he's one ingenious/industrious/awesome chap.

EditEdit: "health and safety?" Pfft.

Just saw a much later video (July 2010) - he has a dome with four floors - One floor with a FREAKING TRAMPOLINE AS A FLOOR! This guy is unbelieveable! :D

I don't get how he supposedly builds his own Saw Mill from scratch but can't make a rudimentary vice to file and manually cut some Aluminium, his hands and nails are also really well manicured for a Metalworker... ;)

That's brilliant. Would love to have the time & know-how to build what he's built so far, including the warehouse and various other things.

he has no electricity but he does have the internet?

Why do people always have to pick fault . You don't need broadband at home to access the internet & who cares if he does actually have electricity and doesn't really live in the woods!?
