Well I just broke my record to 15k in 3dmark06 :)

All overclocks are on air with a S1 Arctic Cooler on the 8800GT and a Scythe Ninja lapped with a lapped Q6600. Now I just need to upgrade to water cooling as summer in Australia gets nasty for air cooling with 40 degree days.

when you do a test and get a score it gives you an option to publish it to the orb's website.
from there you can compare it to others.
been a long while since i did that so not 100% sure.
someone will know

edit : look where it gives you your score.

thats a really good score.
how does it compare to others with similar specs?

Thats not bad - I'm pushing for 15K too. I have an 8800GT and a Q6600 at 3.3Ghz. I guess if I push my clock to 3.5Ghz like yours I'd get the exta 240 marks that I need.

Will have a tweek later tonight.

Your E penis just jumped out my screen & flopped on my desk :p
Real nice score Dude

Surely with all of this overclocking your components arent going to last nowhere as long? Or are they, I'm new to overclocking as you can probably tell. Must be dreadful for PC's in Australia, that's one thing the English weather is good for, keeping our systems and us really cold, lol.

Nice score though mate,

RoEy

If you do it properly the risks are minimal, plus most overclockers don't keep their equipment more than a year I'd say.
The Q6600 is very capable of overclocking well. Just make sure you have an overclocking motherboard, decent cooling and in some cases decent cooling for your GPU too.
