My new beast of a system

What you want to do it get a good psu, spend £51 550 ax cosrair, and then buy the chip motherboard mem at the same time. how much are you willing to spend?

I love the idea that his post has been floating around the internet for 6 years.

I just looked the cheapest IDE drive OCUK do is 80GB and its 25 quid and its about the same for a SATA 80GB!

You'd have to go out of your way to find a 40GB IDE one!

Its such a tiny amount of space. My photos alone would take up most of that drive!
 
Your right the 40 gigger is a bit old now and i should really get a Sata seeing as they are so cheap, but i'm only really getting back into PC's after about 1 year or so of not paying attention. I was still living in the days of 2500+ Bartons and 9700pro's until about 1 month ago. I am not a massive user, about light/med with a few games... In fact the main thing i do is play Enemy Territory when i get the chance. It was GTA IV that resparked my interest in PC's. So i thought i'd see if i could piece together the cheapest rig poss to run it on...:D
