That looks okay.

I'd get a different power supply, also which SSD is it?
Do you have a 64bit OS for the 16GB of RAM?

What's your total budget, we'll see if we can improve things.

I'm not looking to spend more than £1500 max as this is money straight from the university.

I'll provide links on the above post to each item I'm looking at, plus I have my own copy of 64bit so operating systems I'm sorted with.

Lose the links to a competitor site.

That^ Plus are you really going to be using 6 cores and HT doing games technology...? Im currently studying Games Software Development which means Im going to be programming a lot of games... Though I wouldn't go 6 cores and HT. Mainly because my lecturer suggests that we keep the game specifications to what almost any system can play. Par say his home PC has 4Gb of RAM so if I exceed that when he is marking my work he would have trouble compiling and running my games.

Unless you need it now then it may be advisable to wait until around August, or at least a few weeks, before buying as due to the Ivybridge launch the prices of the socket 1155 Motherboard and compatible ram has increased due to the demand.

I wont be able to buy until around December/January eitherway. I am considering buying a 1155 over a 2011 now however as they are cheaper and more readily overclockable (The ones with the 'k' suffix I mean).

It was because I achieved distinctions in my college course, the only thing I'm proud of to date :')

Ahah I see :) I didn't go to college so I guess I missed out I still get a lot per year regardless :p spent £750 on my new IB build... tis just barebones as well... I was a little drunk and sad so yeah xD
