My new build - Please confirm temps

Hi there,

I have just built my first rig and wondering about my temps.

Intel E6300 @ 1.86Ghz (Will overclock after some more reading

)
Zalman 9500 cooler
Antec P180B case all fans an low.
Leadtek 7900GS

Idle temps are 33*C
Load temps are 43*C

Are the temps okay ?

Those temps seem fine - what are you using to measure them?

pcwizard, I'm going by the two separate core temps instead of the low processor temp.

Is there a better tool to use ?

I'm not familiar with PCWizard - most people on here use Coretemp or TAT.
The temps are fine though.

My CPU was about 38C idle before the overclock, now runs 42C idle and 52C load at 3.01GHz

My first attempt at overcloking.

Stock volts CPU 1.325
Stock volts Ram 2.1
2.8 Ghz

Temps 52*C full load

Well done.

My OC is 430x7 at stock volts and I am getting similar temps. Go on - you know you want to!

430*7 Is nice !!!

Also got an Intel 820 @ 3.5 Ghz With similar temps

(Just more fan noise

)

Same mobo, Case and Cooler. (Bros PC)

I seem to be getting 23c idle 33c load on my E6300, haven't overclocked it yet though. My cooling setup is very loud though, find it difficult sleeping in the same room as my computer tower
