hi all about time i stuck some porn on here over new build

all this arrived

another 120mm delta for good measure (for phase unit) :yepp:

Psu installed

mobo fancy boxing but pretty empty inside

sexy heat pipe array and not a rollercoster wannabee

testing on air

swifttech Mcp 60 Cooled 1900xt 765 core and 846 mem and climbing

eheim 1048 and res fits in floppy bay perfect

results

4ghz 1.5v 450fsb x4 :up:
12ish sec pi run on a basic xp install ( no tweaks ect 47 processes running)

Nice set up, which i was brave enough for phase. what batch is your new Quad? I would get CPU-Z v141.1 which shows correct Vcore and core temp 0.95.4.

core temp cannot show minus temps for some reason it just shows 12c 4c 12c 4c no matter if its on load or not

o.k guys i done a bit of playing about and noticed the gigabyte have done a few bios changes to my board so off i went updating and bingo mem problem solved
I was on release bios F3 and now its at F6 e (beta) 4 new updates in 1 month!!!!
I no longer have to pick auto once the fsb is above 450,
I can now run tighter timmings of 4-4-4-12 2.1v
wonder how much more legroom i have gained

Does the bios show negative temps? Stock Vapo LS?

yea bios shows -52

modded ls holding a real -40 at load (tuned for 260w load)

Am I right in thinking that you've got the RAM in adjacent slots on the mobo in those pics? If that is the arrangement, are you intentionally not using dual channel mode?

ram is in dual channel mode on phase look at lower picts

when air testing (making sure it all worked before i hit phase) it was in single tho was to lazy to change it until i fitted the phase unit

More testing ram is really struggling now set my limit at 2.144 max dont want to kill the stuff !!!
