I just put together a bundle of
I must say, I'm very impressed. It's a world of difference from my old c2d system. It's made a huge difference to modern games where the dual core was bottlenecking my 5850. I didn't really get it as a system to be overclocked (hence not getting a 'K' cpu), but I may have a play later
BIOS design has come on leaps in the last 4 years hasn't it! Shame there were no spare USB brackets in the motherboard box. Had to buy another two.
The Zalman keeps things on pretty even temperatures even under load. Though the fan is a bit noisy, so I may see how the old fan from my Scythe Ninja is as a replacement.
Sleep works, but isn't being auto triggered by the power plan, I must need to tweak something else in Windows other than "allow to sleep when sharing media". May be a USB device keeping it awake I guess.
