needed some cash for a stupidly large tax bill, free'd up £4k by selling the m3 and bought this to keep me on the road with a modicom of fun

nice enough car, exhaust note is rather sexual

that is all

(awaits audi hater fox to tear me a new one on msn :p)

Nice, I have a big soft spot for Audi S/RS models. How much was it, Mr G?

How does it compare to the M3?

Is there no requirement for the car to be <5 years old any more? I thought that was a part of the attraction to the M3 in the first place.

How is the wind in the hair feeling? :p

yeah but I purchased this on impulse with a gigantic hangover so I'm sure my CEO will understand..... :p

it was 7,950 with 70k on the clock, seems to have all the toys too although I'm very much missing a multifunction steering wheel :(

Its Epic, but not epic enough, considering the cars the OP has had in the past. Its like Gibbo turning up in a Focus ST.

How much did the M3 go for? I assume it was a very temporary money crisis if you can just go out and buy the S4 and spend another £600 on wheels :p

It was a very late e46 cab so I guess worth maybe £11k-£13k.

Sell that and buy the S4 for £8k and he's released £4k or so to cover his tax and still got a nice car.

I'm guessing it was simply a case of must find £4k within the next 4 weeks or something and the car was the easiest thing to swap and change to make the money.
