This is true, but I took my car on an MLR dyno day and the guy there mapped 10's and when I enquired he said the gains on 360 with decat were minimal and as such better to save up, do the rods, change turbo and then map to 500BHP.

So a remap will perfect the power / torque curve, but the difference is not huge or so I was told on the 360.

I haven't bought a new car in over 18 months so I dont know where atpbx got that idea from , We had a volvo xc90 as a family car and I had a £500 del sol vti , When the xc90 was written off we got the Accord tourer and that was written off the following day lol. I then picked up a cheap saloon car to use till the mobility car came through and then the del sol went . I have been using the saloon car ever since for work etc . A mobility car costs nothing to run apart from petrol and 3 kids cost nothing to run apart from my left over food on my plate

I don't know the user names of the guys in question because ofcourse they use differnt user names but was pointed towards it by another member here . Yes its a terrible thing to write and it does upset me to see those things but then I think to myself there just bashing plastic keys on a keyboard .

2008-rover zr - traded accord for this plus cash my way
2008- Volvo-v70 - straight swap for Rover -
2009- turbo minerva - Mean Zaffy ?
2009- 1.8 mondeo - Cost us nothing pretty much as was via a mate to tide us over see below
2009- accord type r - Zaffy sold due to head and turbo gone
2010- xc90 - This is the only one that wasnt tied with others and was written off
2011- accord tourer - written off by someone else
2012 - evo whatever -

So thats 11 car and 3 are sitting outside . 11 minus 3 is 8 . So thats 4 cars in 5 years as there are 2 of us in the house . If you want to get really funny about it I have gone through 2 as all the others have been hers .
