My New Computer!

Thanks for the comments guys :D
As for the Windows XP case, I downloaded it free via my University and had to burn it to CD, so it is a fully licensed copy!

I was looking at that monitor too, how are you finding it? Any dead pixels, bleeding etc.?

I'm also a bit stuck for a choice for gfx, the new 4850 look great but for linux which I dabble in now and then, nvidia is usually better! what to do eh!? :)

I can't fault the monitor mate, its been great since I got it for Christmas as a present.
As for graphics, I think I'm going to go for the Leadtek GTX 260 for £205, unless another brand drop below that price between now and Friday!

To be honest I dont think there are any games worthy of spending £200 or so for a graphics card? Please correct me if I am wrong. I found myself playing Lego indiana jones for quite some time (lol) which hardly even stresses my unused 8800GT.

Now if I could only get a copy of Lego Starwars again... :( members market? :D

Haha fobose.
All I'm thinking about is Battlefield 3 when it comes out as I don't want to upgrade again.
I play CS:S and BF2 at the minute, oh and hopefully some CoD4 when I get a new card as the 7600 can't handle it at full res and in a lower res it looks awful.

Went with your suggestion Steve09, got a P182. Second hand though from a mate ;)

Gonna haggle Antec to try and send me some spares me thinks

I saw your thread mate and thats an awesome price, I'm really enjoying mine!
I had a bit of an incident with one of my side panels, me and my Brother were messing about, knocked a small table over and it hit the plastic, resulting in a big chip out of it.
I had to show the Antec support guy a scan of my invoice and a picture of the chip, but I shouldn't see why you couldn't haggle them.

I need the PSU cage, the black plastic bit above the psu that slides open, a bag of screws, and new side panels! I think it's asking too much. Don't know how i'll explain it to them :0

Hahaha, couldn't you try it one at a time, you might stand a better chance.

According to Wikipedia it is mate.
Finding it really hard to game at the minute, going from my Microsoft Standard Wireless Optical Mouse :p

You get used to it and then you wont be able to go back lol. I tried using my old optical mouse after the 518 (1600 model) and it felt really weird.

Nice pc mate, I'm hoping to be building one soon if i can decide what to get :/.

You'll get used to the mouse, I had an MX518 for years until I swapped it for a Deathadder (god-awful), then in the end I bought a G5, very simalar, best mouse ever.

Nice build as well. ;)

Nice build mate.

Are you using the MS Multimedia Wireless desktop without the mouse? Got the same keyboard.

I was using the keyboard until the W and S became worn out, then it was just the mouse, now I'm using none of them.
It was the Wireless Optical Desktop 1000, was awesome considering the price.
