Your link shows the Coolermaster RC-1000 case :)

Copy-paste your shopping basket (or screencap it and host it on e.g. imgur.com) and show us that way, it's a lot easier.

Do you mind if I ask what you intend to use the system for? The monitor and graphics card you have chosen are pretty intense!

It may help those "in the know" suggest any changes or offer advice :)

For the price of the graphics card and SSD, you could buy a pre-built system from OCUK which would be perfect for some 'fairly' high-end gaming and general day to day use.

I'm really no expert, but atm you will be paying a lot of money for some fancy kit with a lot of potential which may not be used.

Hey, that setup looks sick! As a u2711 owner I can tell you games look so crisp and vibrant on that monitor. You might considder running 6950's in crossfire rather that having a single 6990 - better performance, quieter and 40% cheaper!

Is your plan to use the extra 120mm fan to replace the fan on the H70 Cooler? if so then no quarms here. otherwise if you don't mind waiting for OcUK to get stock in i'd go for the Antec Kúhler H2O 620 CPU Watercooler.
Performs just as well and is a lot quieter!
Only other question is do you need Windows 7 Ultimate? most people are fine with home premium. Do you need domain join, languages and bitlocker? If not the Win7 64 home is fine.
Small warning about the Cosmos case, you will be limited with the cable routing in it. the back panel has foam padding for noise reduction but it also stops you routing 90% of cables :(

couple of questions:

first off, do you already have a motherboard, because you havent shown one in your post.

also, will you be doing any major work in photoshop, video editing, animation, or CAD. if your not then i would suggest going down to 4GB of ram, because you simply wont use 8GB with gaming alone

*edit*
oh, and from what ive heard, if you get 2 6950's and 'flash' them to become 6970's and use them in 'crossfire' (both graphics cards working together on one screen) you will actually get better performance than your 6990 for about £150 less than the 6990

did a little hunting around, and this is the build ive come up with:

before you go ahead and order it, there are a few things i have literally no idea about, so i went for the same as you chose for:
- SSD
- CPU cooler
- case
- monitor
- thermal paste
- power supply (i know you will need 850W or above for what ive suggested, but i dont know if its a good one or not)

also, theres a comparison of the three versions of windows 7 here

my last question is, what are you planning on using your extra fan for, because the only fan that isnt included with the case is for the hard drives, and they really dont need fans

i am assuming the processor you have is the i5 2500k, or some other processor that will fit in the 1155 slot

(this comes out about £100 cheaper than your current rig, and includes a decent motherboard, which you didnt even out in your setup above)

£450 on a SS HDD are you kidding me? I suppose it is important for a game to load up quickly. NOT.

Personally, that's a waste of money, better invested elsewhere mate, in my humble opinion

That's a lot of money on a gaming rig... and most of it spent on the GPU, Monitor and a SSD...

Ouch.

enthusiastic about a hdd? hmmmph. The mind boggles!! :D

it wont make the game play any better from experience.. it'll just load quicker, pc boot up quicker. blah.

Well some people have different interests (certain GD topics) and having quicker HDDs just to shave a few seconds load-time off maps, Windows or whatever is always good.

An SSD is the best upgrade I could have made for WoW in experience, loading screens are so quick and it makes good use of SSDs. It's not really a new thing to be enthusiastic about HDD speeds, 10k RPM Raptors were the thing years ago.

Thank you for all your input, yes i do have the i5 2500k, does this look any better, please be gentle.
