My new install after 2 weeks without my car and this is the end result :D

Very pleased with it and its sounds amazing. Its a full JL Audio setup with 2 12s in the boot and a set of JL XR components in the front. The black box in the middle of the boot is a Phoenix Gold 30 band EQ. Only problem is i cant stay out of the car and its costing me a fortune in petrol.

Well the EQ was the most expensive part of the install at £500 and all in the full install wiped me £1400.

I know some will call it mad but money well spent to my ears :D even my Dad was impressed and thats saying something, he just doesnt know how much it cost.

Yeah but then i drive around with no spare wheel as it is. If i have a puncture its out with a can of air.

Well the EQ is there to setup all the levels so that the sounds can sound as crisp as possible and since a hefty set of components are in the front the EQ can be justified. As was said earlier the EQ settings on the head unit just cant cut it and especially with the Alpine usnits sibce they produce a very trebble heavy sound. The EQ allows the system to perform at its best and beliebe me it sounds really good, you can hear all the instruments and the bass is really clear.
