Processor: INTEL CORE 2 DUO E6700 CONROE
Motherboard: ASUS SKT-775 P5L-VM
Memory: 2GB DDR2 PC-5400 667 MHZ
Hard Drive: 320GB SATA II HARD DRIVE (Maybe a Maxtor?)
Power Supply Unit: (Looking to spend around £30-50)
Fans: (Don't no which fans to get yet :\)
Case: Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming case
Graphics Card: (Not yet decided will probably get this later on in the year:P)

How'd it sound :)

500w Akasa or FSP would be fine for around £50 although my choice would be the Corsair 520w at around £75.

Would get a Gigabyte DS3, S3, Asus P5B or Abit AB9 motherboard.
Geil ddr2 800mhz.
6400 CPU.
Don't get a maxtor if buying new, either Samsung or the 7200.10 drives.
As said Akasa or FSP 500w PSUs that are on OcUK.
Yate Loon, Sharkoon, Nexus, Akasa Amber etc. are all good
Graphics - 8800 would be the obvious choice if gaming, if your budget is much lower than get a 7900GTO/x1950pro.
Case - I personally can't stand it, good cooling though. A Lian Li or Akasa Eclipse would be my choice.
 
E6700 is waste of money IMO. E6600 is far better value. Then you can OC it beyond 6700 speed and use money you save on more important things. Consider an E6300 unless you are doing video work, which is about the only advantage the E6600 has over it with it's extra cache.

DEFINITELY spend more than £30 on a PSU. Shear madness otherwise! :eek: Corsair 520w/620w are excellent.

Personally, I'd stay away from Maxtors. My experience has not been great with them. Many others will agree, many will disagree, but that's my position. I'd go with Seagate or Western Digital.

Tuniq Tower would be a good CPU cooler. Scythe Ninja is good, but Tuniq is one of best coolers around at the moment.

Sythe S-FLEX fans are very efficient and quiet.

Why PC-5400 RAM and not PC-6400, unless that's what you meant? OCUK only sell 2 5400 sets anyway (both G-Skill). The Geil sets are very good value.

I'd look at getting a different motherboard also. Possibly a Gigabyte DS3.

Case wouldn't be my choice, and I'd recommend a Lian-Li any day of the week, but the 900 is not terrible. It looks **** IMO though.

Reviews mean very little, I would give it a good review if Antec gave me one :p

Like I said good cooling but I just don't like it, looks tacky imo.

You don't have to spend more than £50 on a PSU, I spent £42 and have a seasonic which powers everything quite nicely while being silent.

I agree about the HDs, add samsung to that list though for silence.

Both coolers are good, freezer 7 pro is a good cheaper option.

The s-flex fans tend to make a slight ticking noise apparently but still very good.

I edited my post to say more than £30 on PSU, which is what I meant. You could get something pretty decent for £50 although if I were you I'd spend a little bit more and get the Corsair 520W.
