Not been able to post before the RR, most of you guys will have seen it on saturday though.

Picked it up last week Early 2000 spec.

Awesome to drive, very sedate and refined pottering about then goes mental at 6k till the 9200rpm Redline. Getting used to the handling but the steering is unreal. Razor sharp and seems like good amounts of grip, not pushed it too hard as I'm getting used to it. Did have it sideways off a roundabout on sunday though

Other pics of it:

Seems to use more petrol than the rover at the moment though, suppose 18s, aircon and roof down ( not at same time ;) ) Don't help plus it has to use the expensive stuff.

I've just decided... I don't like you!... :(

(Goes of Mumbling something about Wanting one of those for years and never having enough money!!)

:D

Love this car mate. Like I said on saturday, that front end is gorgeous, and the wheels suit it perfectly

Whoa, I simply cannot believe thats a 6 year old car.

Is it me or is the quality of used stuff really improving these days?

Enjoy it, keeping the Rover?

Its in really good condition for the age. Paint needs a polish and wax still aswell. Full Honda SH too. First owner had it for the first 72k miles and within 2 years he had done 38k! A lot for a sportscar. Engine made 245hp on saturday so there are definately no problems with it (completely standard).
Engine is amazing. It makes more torque in the off vtec area than other 2.0litres do peak!

Rover is in the garage at mo uninsured, not sure what I will do with it :( There is still that 'fun' part of blowing things away with it and also there are parts of it I prefer over the S2k.

looks awesome, it's crying for some lowering though :p

I don't think I could get out of it if it was lower lol. It look high in pictures but in the flesh you realise its just a big arch gap. The car is very low, not sure if lowering it really helps handling either.

One things for sure though, there are plenty of aftermarket bits out there for them

Keep the Rover.

Seriously, dont take this the wrong way but I would imagine its virtually worthless, yet costs nearly nothing to keep in the garage. You'll regret selling it one day as you'll never get another like it.

Problem is I'm moving 110 miles away to an apartment in September. Have no where to keep it there and I can't see the parents being too pleased about it in the garage lol. We will see though, as you say I'll never get another like it.
At the moment it is a lot faster than the s2k too! I could drive that car right on the limit, the s2k is a whole different challenge. Good fun though :D

Very nice, awesome looking cars.

/awaits obligatory "if you like no torque and revving the nuts off an engine" comment

Breaking it would be wrong :(
Yep damn right, would break my heart seeing all my sweat and blood (no tears, Im a man - despite the new car :p )

would have been good to have taken it on saturday too, would have opened peoples eyes as a passanger as to how you can make a crap car good with a 'few' choice mods.

Loving this weather and the roof down, everyone looks at it, a group of children even gave me the thumbs up yesterday. Was hoping for a higher age group though to be honext :( ;)
