I took delivery of two new Seagate 7200.10 320GB drives yesterday.

I slapped them into RAID0 in my system, and all I can say is wow!

The drives are so quiet compared to my old Maxtor drives, and so far, they seem a little faster.

I'm unable to run HD Tach at the moment as I am running Vista, so if you know of any alternatives, please let me know.

Overall, very impressed.

It does seem to perform well at the moment. Time spent with Vista on my old Maxtor drive was limited, but so far I would say things have improved.

I just need to build my Core 2 Duo system soon to have a much needed speed increase :)
