My camera doesnt do it justice to be fair (I need to learn how to use my camera)

all I need now is a WB for the graphics and to do a bit of braiding then I is done (until the next thing ofc) ;)

Can you post a shot of the front showing the fan controller if you still have it in,
i was going to get the same one as its the only one ive found with red leds but just wondered in what way it doesnt fit properly.

This is the 100 million dollar question, do they blow or do they suck

As soon as I change the fans to blowing out someone will say ah well I would have them setup to pull the air in as its fresh cool air and let the rear case fan suck the hot air out. :-)

I think whatever way you do it only makes 1-2 degrees difference.

As a rule of thumb, I dont suck hot air into a case.

Why not switch the rear fan to an intake and the top 3 fans to exhaust.

That brings cool air in and puts it straight back out the through the rad keeping your case and rad nice and cool :)

The fans on the rad are pulling air in; the general consensus (albeit only a few degrees) is to have fresh air being pulled or pushed into the radiator. The dust filters will prevent dust and crap getting clogged into the radiator to.

I've been debating with myself over the last two days whether to get this case and this is the main sticking point. Looking at the design of the airflow in this case the only way air gets into the main compartment is that bottom fan, which itself appears to have to draw through another grill at the very bottom, this must mean cool air into the main compartment may not be as much as it would be if the intake was mounted direct to an external panel somewhere. This in turn leads me to think that if a 120.3 rad is in the top it simply must draw air in from the outside in order to get enough air. I know this is supposed to be the consensus but I wouldn't like it that way round due to the possibility of heat build up in the case from the rad, when you've only got one fan sucking it out, thus affecting all your non-wc stuff. I love the case for its cable management possibilities but the apparent air flow options are putting me off.

I'm not sure I understand what you are saying, are you referring to bringing the heat in from the rad?

Sweet build man! Can I ask how much the WC gear came too? I'm interested in doing a similar setup.

Cheers.

The fan controller protrudes slightly from the front of the case. This is because the screw holes in the side of the controller are not best placed therefore making it stick out a little. The quick release bracket on the case is also in the way of one of the holes so I just had to stick a long length screw in it to make it fit.

If you want a pic thats no prob.

Eventually got my GTX 295 in the loop, my temps on the gpu have dropped massively compared to the noisy 'orrible stock heat sink and fan.

Oh the quietness is heaven ;)

I'm still rubbish at photography though :D
