Ok so I've got my website hosted with TSO host after reading some recommendations from here. Everything's uploaded and I'm ok with the basics of using the control panel.
Is there anything I should know or is it all fairly simple? There's options like disabling hot-linking and all king of security, which I understand but I'm not sure which ones are essential etc.
Also I have bought the .co.uk domain but I'm unsure whether its worth buying .com aswel for a redirect. The website name is quite specific so no one would really want to copy it but I'm unsure.
Can anyone give a web-hosting virgin some tips?
