Hey,

Iv lately build a computer from noob parts just to get the experience lol;
it turned out okay as everything is working with extra fans and a led in the front. Its not very good cable management but its my first build.

*sighs* I remember the first PC I ever built...those were days...and now look at me...lol...Core i7 already...I cannot believe it hehehe...nice build mate...you will get better as time goes on :D

Yea thanks,
i was just thinking of adding ram, cpu, cooler and maybe a graphics card.

Any suggestions on a best buy for any of these?

Edit:
Or maybe a case but i have a strict budget so maybe cheap or shall i stick with the one i have?

Well, im not to sure because since im only 13 it cant be BIG. At the end of the month,
(6th of may to be exact), its my birthday and iv asked for nothing but money so i will post here or somewhere else my budget for you.

Looks good to me. I bought some Corsair 2x2GB stuff recently for the same price, ram is very cheap :) What OS are you running? 1GB seems very low these days, especially if your planning to play games eventually.

Its running 32 bit vista and yes 1gb is low because its build from 3 computers which where bought 2+ years ago :).

What motherboard is it?

From the spacing on the ram slots it looks like it takes DDR so that DDR2 you linked to wouldn't work.

XFX 4830 - What power is your psu..

Add that and the memory suggested above and you got a perfectly use able build.

Just for interest what motherboard is it?

You could get some cable ties and tidy up..(Not really one to speak)

With the better memory you could also overclock the cpu slightly maybe aim for 2.4 - 2.5Ghz on stock cooler.

Lol the components are all quite standard.

The psu is a stock packard bell 250 W.

And the motherboard is a stock packard bell MCP61.
