My OcUK Journey and several OcUK moves, including our latest new building!

Congratulations on the move and wow! What a huge building, it’s been quite something to see OC/U.K. grow so exponentially over the years.

That's some serious square footage

Would you ever offer warehouse tours to long standing forum members? :p
Absolutely this - I really found Gibbo’s tour during the last Motors meeting I attended (with a truck) very interesting. :)

Quite the journey. The forums has been my homepage for over 20 years. Time sure doesn’t slow down.

The new building looks amazing, any chance of some interior shots when it’s all set up?

i still remember my 1st purchase from overclockers. a geforce 256 DDR

given the cars gibbo drives I reckon I must have overpaid for it ;)

funnily enough I fairly recent found my old pre overclocked duron processor (700mhz to 900mhz) compete with pencil mod also bought from here. I was a little sad recycling it

I used to enjoy having a bit of a day trip out to come an actually pick up the computer stuff I wanted. I admit though it was a long time ago now and desktop computers are in my past at least for now - I have not been since OcUK was at the Imex unit.

I always remember walking down the covered section the first time to a very non descriptor door. I do not remember there being a name on the door the first time, just the number but you knew you were in the right place with the Nissan 200SX parked outside! I think my Dad and I made quite a few purchases that day, I remember getting a pre overclocked AMD 850MHz CPU.

I made quite a few little trips including one where I walked a very random odd walk with no google made a back then from Tretham Gardens. I think I navigated roughly by where the football ground is, the dual carriageway and a distinctive **** (waste mine material!) heap!

@Gibbo OCUK's success is very much deserved. Its great to see the company going from strength to strength. I remember discovering the website in the early 2000's when I needed a part I couldn't find anywhere else. I remember worrying you guys might not be reputable as I'd never heard anything about you. Think I'd used Aria almost exclusively. Can't remember exactly why but had to make use of your customer service and was more than satisfied. I've never looked back. You guys have always gone above and beyond for me.

I always wanted to work for OCUK and wish I'd made an application years ago. It seems like such a friendly place to work. If I had I might not be crippled now.

I guess what I'm trying to say is I wish you and the rest of the team every continued success for the future!

Best of luck in the new place.

Ive been to all of them. The IMEX only had a small retail shop and it got pretty cramped in there at times. I remember the X-Fi had not long come out with the front bay. Couldnt find one anywhere but there was one in one of the display PCs. I only asked and withing seconds it was removed and on the counter for me to buy.

The next shop on that retail park had a nice shop bit, spent a fortune in there over the years as i did in the current place.

Really enjoyed the special events you put on including the birthday bash you put on a few years back. i remember getting there early hours and some bloke had been there all night in a tent at the front of the queue.

Really miss the shop. The collection service was welcome but not the same as a spur of the moment purchase as i was passing.
