Lets you check your mail using Outlook etc, but the mails remain on the server. It's supposed to be so you can share in inbox, but people find it useful so they can access emails they have already read in Outlook even when away from their PC.

With IMAP it would be. Any changes you make using, say, Outlook (such as deleting mail, putting them into folders etc) are reflected on the server. With POP, they wouldn't be.

ive always had a free UK2 email, dont actually know if UK2 are any good but it was the only thing i could attain way back when i was trying to sign up to these forums as i didnt have an ISP email
perhaps try them, though i dont know if it can do what you want
