MCH and FSB volts are +0.1, all 100% stable, 52c load

mines recently started failing orthos after 5 minutes... weird as it was fine for hours a few weeks ago![]()
I also noticed my ddr12v status on my mobo sometimes says fail![]()
Another thing is sometimes the pc refuses to boot and reverts back to stock fsb until i go back into the bios and enabled manual fsb![]()
a lot of weirdness for me... testing at stock now and will start again methinks![]()
Greenboi said:Yeah, stock... but i did up it in the BIOS
Exact same happens for me, in the PC Health part in the bios, the vdimm bit is in block red caps saying FAIL. I just booted up the rig and its all smooth... thats at the specced volts for my ram though, but its +0.4 in the bios, which is why its likely that its kicking off.
Also, i get the problem you described where the bios automatically disables the overclock. I believe this is a protection thing...no idea why it does it randomly (when youve had the chip running at 3ghz(eg) for a week stable![]()
Jono8 said:70 degrees! woah. Ive just put my e6320 to 2240mhz and never goes over 45 degrees while orthos is running. I would say that is too hot.
Im using a scythe infinity by the way, with one stock fan.
n3x said:Is that 45c via TAT? My bios, coretemp and speedfan all report about 10c lower than TAT... hopefully TAT is wrong but im not taking any chances.
naudiz said:I trust TAT over any other temp measuring software simply coz its made by Intel for Intel chips

naudiz said:Just a quick question since this is my threadIf anyone has got the same RAM as me can they post their timings table from CPU Z? Just to see, coz according the the GeIL website the timings should be 5 5 5 15, but the timings table says 5 5 5 18 for 400MHz

i got my e6300 to 3.2gig stable with 1.35vcorenaudiz said:Just in case anyone is interested
Am currently at 2Ghz, on the specs below, processor is a bit toasty at just under 70 under load, contemplating a new processor fan at the moment, but will see after I get the HDD conversion kit meaning another 120mm fan as an intake. Also currently at 1.45 volts I believe, will see how much further we can go tomorrow, 2.8 being the goalAnyone got any comments/ suggestions let me know
