Hi I've been trying to overclock my pc I have run into a problem I'm gettin black screens pc still stays on and sometimes when it boots I get all squares over the asus wallpaper. I get the settings up tomorrow any ideas please.

It a been going like this since I tryed oldpharts settings my different settings on his motherboard. My CPU vcore is is 1.29000 ioh 1.2 CPU PLL 1.88000 that all I can think at the mo I'll check my pc tomorrow typing on my iPhone at the mo.
You could try upping the vcore abit more and see if it stabilizes - not all cpus are the same and will need different settings to achieve the same speed (so long as your cooling is under control I'd say try this first - or keep the vcore and lower the frequency and do a quick stress test - if you keep getting black screens/squares over boot logo lower again etc

Update got feed up with the screen going black so I cleared CMOS was doing a fresh install of windows 7 during 79 percent black screen again could this maybe be my 1 gig samsung or of of my 470s dying I have the bottom card in now and it's installing near the end now.
