I'm currently having a complete nightmare trying to get a new phone delivered. For some reason, vodaphone insist on using these people whose sole objective in life seems to be to make it as difficult as humanly possible to actually deliver what they are being paid to deliver, at a time when sombody might actually be available to accept it.
They've currently tried to deliver 2 phones a total of four times!! I had to get vodaphone to send another one out after the second attempt. They must have decided that as I have to work, I didn't want the parcel badly enough so they sent it back.
I've tried phoning them, but that's hopeless. I mean, why bother staffing your phone lines!!! The website is also utterly, utterly useless.
Earlier today, I actually managed to talk to sombody about 3 weeks after this saga began. I told them not to bother and that I'd pick the damn thing up from their depot. Anyway, I stupidly didn't bother making a note of their depot address as I didn't have a pen handy and thought to myself "how difficult can it be to find the address of a multinational couriers depot really" BIG MISTAKE !!!!!
So, do you think, given all my Google skills, I can find any trace of this place actually existing
That 118 geeza also hadn't a clue. Phone lines are now closed and I have no idea where the hell I'm meant to go to pick this thing up. If anybody has a clue where the Parceline depot in Chelmsford is, please save my sanity !!!!
Rant officially over
